Earlier Today (I'm still at Otakon, with free high speed internet in my room!) I have the change to go to Kappei Yamaguchi (voice of Inuyasha, L, Boy-Type Ranma, Usopp and PGSM Artemis) 2nd Q & A panel and take some pictures while I was there (those pictures will be coming later this week) !

After the panel Yamaguchi-sensei walked down from the table to come see all of us and wanted to get pictures with us! So I told the moment and got my picture with him and also gave him my Inuyasha and L keychains for him to have ^.^

Don't be, that moment just happen out of no where. Back at Otakon 2008 Kappei kind of made a mistake (Which all the fans love it) by getting up from his table at his panel and coming down to see all of us fans. I was so lucky to have someone (some random fan) take that picture (and that was on the first take), sadly I didn't get an autograph (Waited in line until he break for lunch and didn't return for another autograph (that was his last one) that year. I always looked at it that a picture is worth more than an autograph. It's the fact that you got to meet that person.

Flash forward 2 years- come Animazement 2010 (last year) I had the optional again to meet Kappei and was able to get his autograph this time. What surprise me was that he'd remember me from Otakon 2008. He said (now these are his words) "OO yeah your the cat girl!" In English

Yeah I had one my cat ears head band on and matching tail back then, and he also said that he loved the 2 keychains that I gave him with my fanart of his characters (Inuyasha and L). I was like in 7 heaven then.

All I can say its one of those moments that you can not forget, but hey there is always still another change for other fans to see him. He has already said that he loves the USA and he has come back many times since his first visit back at Otakon 2008. So who knows in the near future you might be able to see him. (I do know from Animazement; changes are better for Japanese guests to return the following year or return many times more. At Least Keiko Han (Voice of Luna and Beryl from Sailor Moon) has proven that.)

I know there are chances. It's hard for me to get time for myself though, my mom is disabled and I need to help her and help with watching my nephews, so chances to be able to get away for a weekend for a con is few and far between. Oh day, though, one day my family won't be as needy and I can live my life more and theirs less . . . I suppose that sounds a bit bitter, I do love my family and would do anything for them, but sometimes it seriously feels like I am losing who I am in their wake. I mean, I haven't written a word of fanfiction in almost a year, and it's been months since my last drawing! @_@

Yeah I can kind of relate but its more job related. Some times its hard for me to request off for an weekend or to do back to back weekends for conventions. It seems like in the past 5 years my convention list has drop to between 3 or 4 conventions a year. As for my family- my grandmother is a Breast Cancer survivor. She was diagnosed back in 2005 and has the gene that can recur. So we have to watch it.

I've done 0-2 for the last five years. This year I know I'm doing ACEN, and maybe Matsuricon (*fingerscrossed*) Oh, and I might run down to A&G Ohio because Eric Stuart will be there and I've never met him. (Met Crispin and Lisa, but not Eric . . . need to complete my Slayers Trio!)

I would be awesome if you got me his autograph. ^_^ Like so giddy you wouldn't believe!!!!!! *faints*

Otherthan my Mom, our family is pretty healthy. ^_^ Hope your Grandmother is doing well (or will do well . . . *?*) You have my support for staying healthy yourselves though! (I have know idea what to say there. ^_^;;; But you get what I'm meaning, right?)

OO wow! Yeah it would be awesome for you to come to Matsuricon this year! As for Kappei's autograph I'll see if they add him to the guest list this year, But yeah not a problem. My grandmother is doing well. Thanks for asking and I'm glad your family is doing well as well.

Yep he is a really nice guy. And yeah I was at AZ this past weekend as well and I finally was able to get his autograph! I will be posting pictures very soon!
