I have some GREAT NEWS for you all! It kind of surprise me when I opened my email inbox today! Basically I got an email from Programming Section Chief for Otakon this year saying they had few cancellations and wanted to know if I still wanted to do my "Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel" and I said "YES"!!!

So here-
Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel
Time- Friday August 8th at 5pm - 6pm
Location- Workshop 1 (Room 339-340)

I made sure that this panel time didn't mess with the 2nd photoshoot! ^.^

I'm so existed right now... that I'm speechless... anyways I'll see you all there!

I'm still busy getting ready for Otakon, but just wanted to say that I've posted July's Feature Artist Below! Feel free to check out the amazing 21 artists for July! Also I found one of my favorite artists here on DA Joanna-Estep creator of Tokyopop's Road Song!

Earlier this week I found out that my Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel was not approve for Otakon, but for those that plan to go to Matsuricon this year I will be running it there along with my "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Fan Panel" and newly approved today- "Hana Yori Dango Live Action Fan Panel"!

It looks like after going to through some of my art that I had a good amount left over from last year's con season that I might not have to re-stock some of my stickers. But I still need to count them though. This year I've added key chains at 1 1/8 x 1 5/8 size ^.^ I have enough to do 11 different designs with 5 each for the key chains. I might take a few pre-designs from the stickers/magnets to put on the key chains, but I will be added more designs such as some designs from- Bleach, Naruto and Death Note (They seem to be the most popular series out there. Besides the ones that I already have. If I have time I might do word designs or I love Yaoi or I love Yuri or Otaku Fan etc) If anyone has any ideas feel free to let me know. I'll  to add them in my list or put them in a future idea.

I am working on 2 more prints that I'm almost finish coloring. Once I get them done I'll post them.

Ok... got run need to go back to pre-paring for Otakon! It's 2 months away!

I had a great time in Massachusetts visiting my family! I was in New Townsend, Newton and Boston areas in Massachusetts. And since my Uncle lives 10 miles from the board from New Hampshire where he lives in New Townsend we were in and out of New Hampshire all the time visiting in Manchester, Portsmith and Rindge to visit the Cathedral of the Pines; areas in New Hampshire . We also had a chance to visit my cousin in the navy and eat dinner at Warren's Lobster House in Kittery/York, Maine!

[ Not a good state for 2008; Updates about my Uncle</a>
2/19/08:
Update on my Uncle!
Well the doctors have done all they could to be able to wake my Uncle, but nothing has work. And after some test results they said my Uncle has a Critical Illness: Myopathy that is very severe and has him paralyzed which is the reason why he has not woke up. His brain has been damage and his sugar levels keep raising and dropping.

So the doctors came my family a choice one being:
He will need very long recovery in a high skilled nursing facility (because of the needing ventilation) or the other being just let him pass. And what my family choice was to let him pass, so tomorrow Hospice is coming to take care of my Uncle. They will be moving my Uncle out of ICU to the 7th floor for Hospice needs or to another build in the hospital for Hospice needs. The doctors will be stopping the dialysis to the kidneys and remove the tracheotomy (thanks carriemiddleton for giving me the name for the "T")  from his neck very soon... so it will be a matter of days that my Uncle will peacefully die.

*UPDATE- 2/21/08- Just want to let you know that my Uncle pass away this morning at 2:30am.*

*UPDATE- 2/25/08- My Uncle's Memorial Service will be on Saturday March 8, 2008.*

I working on some art for Matsuricon- badges, program book and maybe some flyer's! As soon as I get some done, I'll post them.

I'm also working on some more designs for buttons, magnets, bookmarks and stickers. When I get these ready I'll post them. Hopely I can get alot more done for this years conventions.

2/13/08:
Update on my Uncle!
Today My Uncle had his brain surgery (biopsy) to have the Brain Tumor removed. Everything went well with the surgery, but it doesn't look good for my Uncle; he is still in the same state (nonresponse and critical condition) for the pass 15 days in ICU. So the doctors are giving it to next Wednesday (February 20) and if there is no change then they are going to let him pass. So right now my family is praying for a miracle, but it doesn't look like he'll make it.

Update-
My Uncle is still in ICU at Riverside Hospital (Columbus, OH) in critical condition. This is the 12 day. There is still no change, but on Monday February 11 the doctors are planning to do a biopsy to get some samples of the tissue from the large mass (tumor- non-cancer) to see what kind of tumor it is and whats going on in the brain. Hi Everyone,

I may or may not be online lately, since my Uncle is in the ICU at Riverside Hospital (Columbus, OH) in critical condition. All the doctors are working around the clocks since Tuesday January, 29 to figure out whats wrong and what started him to be in this unstable stage. They found a large mass (tumor- non-cancer) in the front of the brain and his kidneys are not working, (he is on a 24-hour dialysis to see if they can get the kidneys to work again) also is sugar levels are very high, and he blood pallet counts is down to 19. They finally got his temp. down to a normal range. He was originally way over 100's and they had to put him in ice and keep him a freezing room.

So if you can keep him in your prayers that would be great! Thank you!

Well I've decided to write something here so you all wouldn't think that I've forgotten about DA. Since getting back from my vacation I went right back to my full-time job working close to 40 hours a week. I do have weekends off, but I'm not aways online. Since I have 2 days off during the week I try to do some stuff, but I promise I will be posting more art soon.

As for my clubs- new members or people that have been noting the clubs or noting please be bear with me a little more. I'm working on trying to find sometime this week - to this weekend to make a BIG update in all 10 clubs. On to other news-
Since Heroes isn't coming back for a while due to the Writer's Strike... I'm been caughting myself up with the online comics on the official website for Heroes. The current chapter is Chapter 69! For those that are fans of the series I suggest checking out the official site and read the online comic for more depth on the series and check out the Heroes official magazine, Heroes Graphic Novel #1 and Heroes Novel: Saving Charlie the untold story about Hiro and Charlie! While we wait to see what happens to the series.

Last that I read from the director he still plans on doing Origins, but the question remands is and when Heroes comes back that is when Origins airs. I just wish it would end soon so that they can go back and film Volume 3 of season 2!

Well tonight was Heroes' season finale. I really enjoy it! At least Adam Monroe/Takezo Kensei and Hiro Nakamura didn't die, but Kensei was buried alive by Hiro. I can't wait for Volume 3 next year! It should be good along with Origins in May!

I should be getting Issue #1 of my Official Heroes Magazine in January, so they may have some more information on Volume 3 and Origins. I have the Pre-Issue! ^.^

Anyways just wanted to say this may be the only update I will have... next week I'm leaving for my X'mas vacation to visit my family that I haven't seen in 2 years. I'm so exist that I'll be going to Hilton Head Island, S.C again! I will be gone for 2 weeks from December 14th to January 2nd and will be with out the internet. So when I return I will make a big updates on my clubs that are year and try to update some of my college work that hasn't been posted on the net yet. I'm also going to try to update some of my sites before the end of the year. Maybe I'll get some thing done... if not its on my list to work on for the first of the new year.

NOTE Update--> it looks like the send note button is working again! Coolness! At least they fix their spamming problem!

Well its been two months since I've update my journal. I've been floating in and out of DA for the pass month or so to check messages and new art but haven't had time to write anything draw. Sorry about that.

As for any new art... well to answer that I just haven't had that much time create anything new. I'm still working for Wendy's close to 40 hrs each week... so its kinda of hard to work on any art on the weekends when I'm off; the same goes for updating any of my DA clubs. Which I free really back about. I had left a message on each club about needing help. For those noting me here in my account you should be getting a note back from me soon. So keep an eye on your notes.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving (for those of us that live in the US or any other countries that celebrate it to!) ! I had a great one! This pass weekend I took the chance and went home for the weekend (Middletown, Ohio) to see my family which I have to say was a blast! My mother two days after Thanksgiving was setting up X'mas stuff so I helped her and my younger brothers with setting up the X'mas tree! Which was fun...I haven't had the time or chance to come home to set up anything since I live away from there for the pass 7 years. So this would be a memory that I will not forget. (PS: Thanksgiving night to Friday I helped my grandmother set up X'mas stuff here! So I'm all ready!)


On to other news..... who here watches HEROES?! I have! Since Season 1! I have to say I really like the second season! My favorites are Adam Monroe/Takezo Kensei and Hiro Nakamura (I do like the others but I like these the most specially Kensei/Adam!). Theres only 2 more eps in the season 2.... I wonder how its going to end? I did here that there will be a season 3 and 4 in the plans. So I'm a little happy that there will be more... but I hope they keep Kensei/Adam for more Heroes! I think David Anders is hot... ^.^ (For those that think I like only Asian guys your wrong!) I did some searching and David is only a year old than me... wow! Thats better than 6 years old than me with Jerry Yen, which I do still like. (I also join to related DA Heroes Clubs! You can find them listed on my Lilly's Joined and Owned Clubs )

I do have a request... I so want to find a really hot Kensei/Adam wallpaper/icon/sign banner from Heroes of David Anders. Its seems like when I go look for pictures of Kensei/Adam that there are not that many or fan art that is. Come on. I think he's a pretty damn good character and I think he needs more fan basic! Does anyone else agree with me?!  I might make a fan club for him if I do not find one!
So if there is anyone on here that would love to make me a wallpaper/icon and sign banner set of Kensei/Adam for me that would be great!

Matsuricon was awesome! I had a chance to meet my college friends- neondragon , Suburban-Samurai , SephVellius and some of my friends that I made over the years at different cons- islington and KinneyMcKee . I can't say I did that well with my art sells. Since this is a smaller con and it is it's second year most people stop by my table and said they loved my art others bought some. It seems at smaller con people are broke like me. ^^ I also have a story to tell you all! On Saturday night (9/8/07) while I was in islington and KinneyMcKee 's Yaoi Panel islington (also Head of Artist Alley) notice that someone took over my table and her's. This guy had the gull to move my table aside to set up his Photo Studios (Note- Do Not Support him or print out any of these pictures etc... ) to take pictures and maybe made some money (no one has found out yet weather he collected money or not) without getting any permission to use the space, so we had con security tell him to shut down and put everything back to place.

On a good note both my Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon "PGSM" Fan Panel and Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel went very well! All I have to say is for those who came THANK YOU! If you have any comments and suggestions for both of these panels feel free to let me know. I plan to return again next year and run both of these panels again + a new panel about Hana Yori Dango Live Actions (working title). This panel is about all the different live action versions of Hana Yori Dango and how close and different are they to the manga (this panel is still in the planning stages, but if you have any comments and suggestions Or like to be on the panel with me feel free to let me know.).

Also My 25th birthday went very well! I went to the House of Japan a Japanese Steakhouse restaurant for lunch. Also I receive a gift card to Barnes and Noble which I bought a few manga that day too. Today went I went back home My grandma's friend took us out to the Olive Garden for our birthdays! Which was pretty cool. Later this week my mother is coming up to Westerville to have a girls night out for my grandma and I birthdays. ^.^

OO my goodness it's been awhile. There has been a reason, I've been taking the time playing with my new laptop to get use to it and transferring files from my desktop to my laptop. I'm all set now. Also what else its been eating all my time is that I'm getting ready to attend Matsuricon this weekend. So I have been re-stacking/printing tons of my button, stickers and magnet designs out. I'm also running 2 panels there, so I had to re-print my outlines and hangouts and collect some video footage for my panels.

Lilly-chan receives a laptop for an early birthday (9/11)/x'mas present!!!
Guess what it was?! My grandmother just bought me a laptop! I'm so excited! I'm currently figure out all the little things right now. I'll take a picture of the laptop soon and post it. In meantime you can view it here 001 , 002 , 003  and 004  . The price went up since yesterday (Sat. Aug. 18th). Grandma and I jointly paid $950 without taxes. With taxes it was $1,130. Today when we went back to pick up I got a carrying case and wireless mouse!

Otakon Con Report: featuring the PGSM Fan Panel report too!!!!
8/3/07: Wow Otakon was great! I really enjoyed my time there! This was my second time attending Otakon, which made the second time around the best ever! Why?! Well this time I arrive a day earlier on Wednesday since the people that I was riding up with were on staff and needed to be there earlier. I manage to see the behind the screens of Otakon before the con begin on Friday (Pre-Con Thursday). Which was pretty cool and neat at the same time. I was also able to walk around with my new friend, Rachael who was also on staff in the Harbor Mall. Last time I was at Otakon which was in 2005 I did not had time to walk over there to see all the shops. I'm glad that I was able to walk over there since the hotel that I was staying at for Wednesday was right next to it. ^.^ Which was pretty cool.

Day of the Pre-Con (Thursday)
Since I was already there in Baltimore the night before I send the day at the Harbor Mall before walking over with some of my friends to check in at pre-reg that evening. This year the check-in was up stairs on the 3rd floor of the convention center. 2 years ago I remember it was down stairs on the first floor next to the dealers room. I was luck to be with MissTopaz and her family since we were able to walk up to the booths to check-in than wait in line because of her 15 month old little boy, Max aka Baby Naruto. We were also able to get stickers to use for the elevators. ^.^ That came in handy because I need to use the elevators to luge all my art back and forward for the hotel each day.

Also this year we were able to check-in for our artist table in the artist alley. From previous years you would need to wait for the next day (Friday) to check-in in the morning. So this was a plus!

Well things were looking good until I'd put out my pocket guide and program book to find that my panel "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Fan Panel" was not listed in it. I also checked the separate sheet to see if they mention it there and still nothing. So that night my cell phone was ringing off the hock because it. That would mean that I would have to wait up early and head to Panel Ops to see why it wasn't listed and find out what I can do so fans would know about the panel.

Days of the Con (Friday-Sunday)
After finding out find that the panel missed the printers. The panel head told me that she would forward my panel information onto the info desk and she also allow me to post a sign on my artist table meaning about the panel too. So what I did set up a sign at my table and went to both Sailor Moon photoshoots and pass the word about the panel!

As for my artist table! The artist alley this year was awesome! I was able to meet alot of artists that I've been wanting to meet for sometime now!!! Specially strawberrygina of "Red String"! She was so nice to talk to! She came over to my table a few times and we chat and I went to her and chat and bought of couple things! I plan to soon have her do a commission for me (but I need to wait until I have enough money save out first).

My table was located right next to my best friend neondragon , my con friends Urd-chan and her girls of Pink Door Inc- kojika himeko Sakura85 and plnunn of Bishonen Works. Just a couple table island over my friends/panelists bewareofninja and MissTopaz had a table each. ^.^

On Saturday- before going down to be at my table for most of the day. I took in 2 panels and went to the Sailor Moon 2nd photoshoot. Before the photoshoot I had the chance to attend Tokyopop's panel to asked them about the renewing licensing for Sailor Moon and what they told me at the panel is that they are still working getting the renewing licensing for Sailor Moon and once they get an approval they would love to release Sailor Moon in the new style which is referring to the second edition of Sailor Moon and use of the original names. See I took an example of their old release Sailor Moon volume and the first volume of the second edition with me to the panel and shown it to them. (In the video over on ANN you only hear me asking the question not holding up the books to show them) I also asked them about translating her other series and maybe her artbooks and (after I held of my Infinity artbook and my copy of Toki*Meca volume 1) they said that they are thinking about it.

I'm just glad to hear that they are still working on getting Sailor Moon! Ok about a set date. There is not set date. Since Tokyopop told us at the panel what they planned to release the rest of this year and next year. I only mention in the video that Nick took of me to look for 2009 to 2010 + for any news and keep on supporting Tokyopop because you just never know what will happen.

So after the panel I quickly went done to the Sailor Moon photoshoot and shared this information with everyone! Which everyone was please to hear! I'd stay there for a little bit more to take pictures and then head to the artist alley which I stay for most of the night and also held our pre-panel meeting to go over things before the panel the next moring.

Day of the panel/last day of the con (Sunday)
Since the panel was at 9am we all needed to be in the convention center an hour before. Which didn't work that way since the convention center didn't open until 8:30am. So we were there right at 8:30am and I wasn't able to wait I yell in and said that I needed to be up on the 4th floor for my 9am panel and they let me in very quickly. I think I lost maybe 5 pounds before starting the panel because I was ran to the panel ops (which was on the 3rd floor) then back the panel room (which was on the 4th floor and there is only one way to the 4th floor). Anyways we manage to start the panel 5 mins pass 9am.

We start out with bewareofninja (aka Kali) talking about the series and some of the cast. She also played a power slide show of some pictures that she put together. We were getting ready to show some of the clips, but her laptop couldn't handle the connection with the projector / screen. It would only play some footage very slow. It didn't seem to mind the fans that was there. They found some the footage very funny, specially with Keiko's (Rei/Mars) taking off her bathrobe in slow motion for one of her model videos. ^.^ Moving on Yosenex talked a little about the book that he worked on "Warriors of Legend" and he also showed off some Sailor Moon attacks with one of his wands! Which was very cool. Through out the panel both MissTopaz and I held up some the PGSM merchandise and play with some of them too ^.^ ! The last 15 mins of the panel we held the PGSM trivia contest and held alot of prizes.

I have to say this panel, since it was my 4th time running it turn out very well! I hope everyone that attend enjoy the panel. Besides running my panel and meeting so of artists that wanted to meet I was not able to meet so of the special guest that I wanted to meet since I was wrap up with being in the artist alley. I was luck to step out of the alley and visit Peter S. Beagle the author of "The Last Unicorn". I'm so glad I was able to meet and talk to him. He even sign my book!!! I asked his publisher and friend, Connor about the live action Last Unicorn. I found out that the company that is planning on releasing the live action has really mess up the script and creating their own version of the Last Unicorn than sticking to the original story. Anyways I had an awesome time and can't wait for next year! My next convention will be next month at MatsuriCon otherwise known as my birthday con! I will be 25 on the 11th of September and Matsuricon will be the weekend before the 11th on the 7-9th!!! I'm so exist!

7/16/07: Well I don't really have any new art to post before I left in 3 days for Otakon , but I did  post my new bookmark design. I did re-stork alot of my stickers, buttons <-- (added 5 new designs); create some magnets. After Otakon I'll try to post more art.

Anyway need to head to bed now it's 1am right now and I just finished printing and cutting out all my stickers, mangets and I have a few more buttons to make. Plus I need to print out a stack of business cards, my PGSM handouts packets for my panel and commission forums to hand out at Otakon.

Well I have exciting news to tell you all! Today was my freelance job interview at The Creative Group! The interview went very well and I got the job. Since this is a freelance job I will be contact about my job assignments. I just wanted to let everyone know! I'm now a freelance artist!!!

3/4/07: For the past couple months besides working longer hours I've been working hard on getting my "Lilly's Art" my personal online art gallery up online and now I can say that I've finally finish it!!! You can now go to lillysart.tsukiyama-sama.net/ to view the site!

In other news: OMG theres only 2 more eps. of Hana Yori Dango2 Returns! I can't believe it! This season is really good! In this weeks ep. they just cover the raining scene and I've cry like a baby. It was so sad. (I still prefer Meteor Garden a little better, but Jun and Mao did an awesome job through!) I haven't cry since the first 4 eps. of the season, so I'm praying they don't end this the same as the manga. I hope they go a little bit further in the end than the manga! (Spoiler: They end it a promise that Makino and Tsukasa maded. Tsukasa leaves for New York for four years. Then in Augest of 2006 Kamio Sensei finally published HYD Sequel; a 50 pages long story in Margaret. Posted on Hana Yori Dango Garden. This Sequel takes place a year after Makino gradutes/after the prom... You can read the 3 part (50 pages) manga here at Hana Yori Dango Garden--> PART 1, PART 2 and PART 3 . At the end of the sequal.... please someone help me with this ---- what does 3 years mean in manga term or does it mean really 3 years from now? On the last page it reads "Still another 3 more years until our Reunion" then it saids the end. I know it has been since the manga ended in 2004 2 years when she release the squeal and now this year (2007) its 3 years since the manga ended. So thats why I'm pulling for a further ending in the JDrama maybe something will lead up to what might be release in the manga sequals later. Who knows its been driving me nuts since I've finish reading the manga and its first sequal last month.)

Current Art I'm working on:
I'm currently working on some art for MatsuriCon 's website, flyers, and program guide. So be on the look out in the gallery for some sketchs.

This passed Friday March 2, 2007 Wendy's first store closed its doors for the finally time. I had the occupation to work in the first store in the evening after I got off from my store(Maxtown Rd, Westerville,OH). It was a blust! I've been to the first store before, but only for eatting lunch with my friends while I was attending Columbus College of Art and Design before I finish. So it has been 2 years since I've visited the store and this time I was behind the counter! While I was taking orders I was very lucky to find on one of the trays that I've pulled up a gold coin saying "Thank You Dave Thomas" with the logo of Wendy's on the front and on the back "Delivering The Best Quality" on the back of the coin. I've got to keep it. ^.^ Now I can say not only have I've eaten at the first Wendy's I have worked there to! I'll never forget a great now, but I will sure miss the first store!

Also I'm working on a goal to begin BSSMLA back out of a year hitaus before the end of the end (keep your fingers cross and pray!) . I'm 90% done... whats left is revamping the product information and graphic galleries. I'll keep up all post!

I just want to say I have so good news. Did you all remember my picture "My Cat Presia" ?! I've mention sometime back that I enter this image in a cat calender contest for the Cat Welfare Association. Well I've recent my official letter in yesterday's mail (10/17/06) saying:

Live Action of the The Last Unicorn?!
This is has been bugging me for a while now still I've found out from a friend of mine about there is going to be a "Live Action Movie of The Last Unicorn" 2 years old. On IMB's website (before they took it down) they had information about "Live Action Movie of The Last Unicorn" coming out this year, but I'm a little confuss... because when I go to the official site for "The Last Unicorn Live Action Movie" (www.the-last-unicorn.net/)  they have reviews of people and companies up saying they've seen it aready. I thought this movie was going to be release in the movie theater? So if anyone one could clear something up that would be great. From what I read from other fans "there still waiting to see the live action movie" maybe the live action isn't due out until this fall. I might email the company that worked on the live action to see if I get some answers.
